On the roof of a advanced data centre in Texas, USA, 850 EC axial fans provide reliable and energy-efficient cooling. Product solutions for data centres
The new Ultra-Low Harmonics (ULH) EC fans from Okoluft with active power factor correction (PFC) are designed for data centres and air handling units with multiple fans operating in parallel. They minimise harmonic interference, eliminate the need for external harmonic filters and reduce energy consumption.
The active PFC in the power supply enables a high power factor (low input current) and low harmonic current.
The power factor is typically above 0.99 and the THD(I) is < 3% across a wide power range.
