SupraBox DELUXE Energy Recovery Units

SupraBox DELUXE heat recovery units are ideal for use in classrooms and seminar rooms, as well as in offices and recreation rooms. Thanks to the integrated supply air outlet and direct extraction of exhaust air via the unit, no additional ventilation pipes are required in the room. A CO 2 -based control system ensures maximum comfort and creates optimum indoor air quality. Depending on the occupancy of the room and the number of people, two units with different air flow rates are available. Both units generate a maximum sound pressure level of 35 dB(A) (at a distance of 1 m in the room), ensuring undisturbed use of the room.

Advantages:

• Ventilation is regulated according to demand.

• No noise pollution from the environment.

• Heat from the exhaust air is transferred to the fresh outside air (heat recovery).

• With good heat recovery, no additional heating is required for ventilation.

• No heating costs for ventilation.

• Room ventilation is also possible when you are away and at night. (safety)

• Free night cooling of rooms with cool outside air

• No temperature fluctuations when it’s cold outside due to window ventilation

• Limit values of 1,000 ppm are maintained at all times

Ventilation concept: Displacement ventilation

The SupraBox DELUXE works on the principle of low-turbulence displacement ventilation. This involves introducing fresh air into the room at low speed, where it forms a pool of fresh air. The air rises from heat sources, such as people, and flows through the room from bottom to top. The exit velocity at the displacement ventilation outlet is virtually immeasurable, which ensures draught-free ventilation.

With displacement ventilation, the air quality in the occupied area is up to twice as good as with turbulent mixed ventilation (VDI 3804)!

Integrated and demand-based control

The heat recovery units include a fully wired internal control system. The units operate continuously in automatic mode, 100% demand-based, and ensure that the maximum desired CO2 levels in the room is maintained. The supply of outside air is controlled by a CO2 sensor installed in the room. If there are no longer any people (CO2 producers) in the room, the units switch themselves off automatically, thus eliminating unnecessary energy consumption. In addition to automatic mode, the integrated time programme can be used to set different intervals for each day of the week. This means that the air quality in the room can be improved by varying the constant air flow rates, regardless of room occupancy.
